Hidden Data Across Regions

In July 2017 DocsCorp surveyed respondents from Europe, the Americas, and Asia Pacific to see if people were aware of the hidden files within their content repositories. We wanted to know what steps, if any, they had taken to discover these files and make them searchable - particularly as the deadline for the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) is approaching. Without data discovery, businesses put themselves at risk of breaching regulatory compliance which can result in harsh penalties. 

We have compared the results across regions - splitting them up into Europe and Americas/Asia Pacific to see if the region most affected by the GDPR - Europe - will have full data discovery enabled by the May 2018 deadline. You can download a copy of the full survey results here.
